After all allied Synthetic life is destroyed along with the Reapers, Tali devotes her life to bringing them back. She eventually writes a program called “resurrection” to restore EDI, who then helps adapt it to start bringing back the geth.

Despite choosing Destroy, I fully believe the geth and EDI lived, as they are programming. The hardware is synthetic; the software - the personalities - are code.

The Reapers lied to Shepard. Destroying the Reapers doesn’t mean destroy every single artificial being in the galaxy, they were just trying to lure him away from that option, because they didn’t want to die. Only Reapers perished when Shepard chose to destroy them, no one else had to die that day.
