I assume you mean this Edie.
She's Simon's daughter and known around her school as someone who always in the know about the hot topic around town. Sometimes she's the one who spreads it but only because she enjoys a good conversation. The only problem is she can be a bit too nosy and forward to the point where you might accidently let a little secret of yours slip. But she's also smart enough to look innocent to anyone who could spoil her fun.
She's also Lina's older cousin and despite Edie's efforts to be close with her, Lina is a bit grossed out by Edie's lack of tact and how when she discuss less then safe for work topics she goes into every detail. Along with Edie being seen as the cool cousin and more responsible one where Lina gets the short end of the stick.
