”My husband always liked them. He lived in Florissant Missouri. He made a desert scene in his mother’s sunroom. Several times he talked about it after we were married and I said, ‘Well I want to raise my family. I don’t want to leave here and go out and work.’ He said, ‘let’s raise them here then.’ So that’s how we started. The terrariums were first, and then we started to get in the cactus because he loved them.
