What’s .htaccess ?
WordPress says “The .htaccess is a distributed configuration file, and is how Apache handles configuration changes on a per-directory basis.”
It is located in the root of your site. The period in front of the file name means it’s a hidden file and you won’t be able to see it when browsing your files unless you show all hidden files on your computer.
