As of this season, I have decided to retire. I have many memories of my career. I remember every competition, especially competing at the Vancouver Olympics, winning the Japanese Nationals, and finishing second at Worlds. Missing the chance to go to the Sochi Olympics, managing to perform as I wanted at the 2014 Japanese Nationals after struggling throughout the Grand Prix Series. These have become precious experiences. Though this means leaving the ice, I decided to start my new life as an employee at Toyota Motor Corporation. It was a huge decision on a huge turning point in my life. Through the courtesy of Toyota Motor Corporation and the figure skating world, I am given a chance to say farewell at the final day of Stars On Ice, 17th April. From now on, please continue to guide and encourage me.
