I had this idea for @starflethegreat for a while, but I never finished it, so this morning I just erased the whole thing and sketched this out... and I like this better.
So Nymph Edith encounter for Starfle’s Swap AU.
While in the desert, Ray finds a little bar in the middle of it and rests inside.
But he doesn’t realize that the quirky owner is actually one of the Six Nymphs of the Glade, and ruler of the desert.
Before he could react He finds some bounty hunters are out for his head, and is surprised when the proclaimed evil Nymph protects him from his pursuers.
They both escape and travel together in the scorching desert. As it turns out, Edith is a very down to earth person, and likes to ignore her duties and do what she loves best, to take care of others. She also takes up treasure hunting, and needs Rayman to travel to some Magic-forbidden Underground caves where a treasure is said to be hidden. Luckily for Rayman, those same caves are proven to be a shortcut to his next destination, the Kingdom Of Knareens.
But as they arrive, the caves are proved inaccessible, even to his small stature. And Edith seemed... impatient.
Maybe she wasn’t as wholehearted as she seemed...
