Han was getting used to waking up next to Luka. Sure, he still had plenty of mornings next to clients, but he has getting used to the slight dip of the bed as Luka got up quietly, not wanting to wake Han up. He was thoughtful like that. It didn’t seem to matter how often Han rolled over to say good morning either because Luka would always ask if he’d interrupted Han’s sleep. It was something Han could get used it.
Still, that didn’t mean Han had gone monogamous. He wasn’t really looking for new fun, but if someone like Vanja asked to stop by, he definitely wasn’t saying no. It was a very different experience to wake up with limbs sprawled across the bed and across him as Vanja took up as much space as possible. “Didn’t you have the thing at 9?” Han mumbled as he glanced at the clock. Vanja had twenty minutes. He did end up out of Han’s house in time, but a few sketches laid scattered on the floor in his wake.
When Han picked one up of Valerija, he wondered what she was up to. Surely Vanja wouldn’t mind if Han used it as an excuse to stop and find out.
He held the paper loosely in his hand as he knocked on the apartment door. “Hey, oh, do I have the right place?” Han hadn’t expected anyone else to open the door. His eyebrows raised. “Wait, are you... You’re the girl Valerija was after, aren’t you?” He grinned and held out the image. “Congrats then, you two. Hey, is she home right now? I wanted to show her this.”
