Choses the pumpkin: Kathy. Zosia can’t understand the point of choosing a perfectly good pumpkin to defile with decoration and leave out on the doorstep to rot. She accidentally tagged along to the pumpkin patch on an empty stomach and forgets the holiday-aspect. Being hungry is all she’s thinking about.

Carves the pumpkin: Kathy, because if Zosia is left alone with a pumpkin and a knife it’s getting cut up into cubes and made into soup.

Gets scared and clings the other in a haunted house: Zosia. Being in a strange place, on a strange day, with a stranger wears on her nerves.

Matching costume idea: Zosia. She has them both carry an empty box of matches. Matching.

Makes a cozy bed-fort to cuddle in: Zosia, in an effort to sound proof herself from the loud chaotic noises outside.

Steal’s the other’s candy: Kathy. Zosia doesn’t care to have her stash ransacked (because technically she stole the candy from someone else an hour earlier)

Accidentally gets lost in a corn maze: Zosia, only it’s not ‘lost’ so much as it’s ‘distracted for a prolonged period of time’.

Tells spooky stories to scare the other: Zosia is a merciless and explicit story teller. Halloween is the only time of year where her style is deemed appropriate.

Collects cool-looking leaves: Zosia. Whilst she’s not too into Halloween, she’s very enthralled by the Autumnal season and has a collection of leaves being pressed in her books alongside dried flowers from the summer.
