we're back gang. it's been awhile, but i'm editing Riddle's Dreaming of You, so let's get started on the commentary lol:

been super low energy recently. gotta get back on a regular sleep schedule lol

go back to page 101 to edit... too wordy but don't have stamina for that rn. Gotta read it out loud. Worked on it for about an hour this afternoon, but it's evening and my battery is low power mode... need to see it with fresh eyes tomorrow.

yes, there is something strange about this section and I'm not sure what it is... perhaps there's more telling than showing... it could be that...

1/14/21 - Update

I have basically finished the task of updating and organizing my Masterlist! 

To not spam the dash or tags, I have queue the rest of the pieces to the permanent masterlist. So as they queue up on the dash, by noon tomorrow the list will be filled out. 

1. Finn & Arthur’s Masterlist’s are empty because I haven’t written for them yet. John & Michael have one request each. The rest is Tommy. 

2. I’m going to be pinning the permanent masterlist to my homepage. So the masterlist that it was is now my 2020 Masterlist and I left a link at the top to the permanent one, so everyone has it. 

3. Telling the Shelby Family (Wedding Series AU) - Link is broken, tumblr has been mixing up my links on stories this week. But I’ll fix it when tumblr decides to cooperate.

4. We’re still have Christmas/Holiday Spirit on my blog in January. Once I wrap up organizing, I plan on finally writing these holiday requests.

5. I will hopefully open regular requests in February. Want to do some Valentine’s/Lovey Prompts too. 

6. For now, I won’t be writing Finn Cole requests. Just because I don’t have motivation to write for him right now, but maybe will again in the future.

i've somehow roped my mom into editing Riddle's Dreaming of You (i think she just misses and worries about me lol. this is how she can help my mental state lol) She's helpful lol. I appreciate all of her comments. Here's some more commentary while I edit:

The doc is so long that neither Google's autocorrect nor Grammarly functions correctly. Thankfully, i already have to move/copy it to a different one for my mom to edit it. therefore, it's shorter. the scrap section has been cut, so now it's working

...i spelled judgment wrong 3 times... i put it as judgement... this is why autocorrect is important. imagine if i had to use a typewriter or physically write. my brain works too fast for those methods

i'm skimming through the second dream, and there's a lot more red underlines than the first one.

*blinks in surprise* ...I wasn't expecting Riddle to teach Reader the Foxtrot...... why did I pick the foxtrot? Stereotypically, fanfic writers pick the waltz. There has to be some reason I chose it. It must be because of the time signature. The foxtrot is in 4/4. The waltz is in 3/4...... aaaaand "In a World of My Own" is in 4/4, so that's why. I'm a low key, accurate genius. I pay attention to details

Just glancing over the dance step description or tutorial is pretty solid. Not too complicated, but specific enough that i think u get the vibe...... actually, don't quote me. i just glanced through it. I need to accurately check it before I make a substancial claim

I can confirm my descriptions of the dance steps are actually phenomenal. They're simple enough for regular readers to make sense of them! I did such a good job. Didn't make it complicated!!! As a dancer, this is a big deal lol

God, describing outfits and accessories is sometimes tedious... I've decided to cut corners. I'm not going in-depth about how the rings look because I don't want to. The audience gets the point.

Oh, thank god the third smut scene is changing. I knew something wasn't right with it. if you've been following my other updates, you've heard me complain about it multiple times. I've solved my problem by removing the actual sex part. instead, i allude to one that happens off-screen. It makes sense, and you're not missing out. Trust me. I wouldn't do that to you. I write what I want to read, and I only produce the best for you all. that's why I take so long (also my adhd...)

This means the third smut scene has been added to the scrap pile, so if anyone is interested, I can always post about that

icb i already got ideas i wanna use for rg slam gfx. it is still far months away but while im collecting the ideas, i feel like it is such a fun theme to explore because while it is (spoiler: mostly abstract), it is harder to express in a reflective form bc i usually try to encapsulate the overall match experience into my gfxs and i wanna do it right bcs i want ppl to 'see' the match by looking at it. So by then im gathering information and references. I have the general idea before diving into it which makes it more fun and im learning a lot of new things with this. If i get extra ideas i might go for wimby as well bcs theyre so close to each other scheduling wise.
