One of my favorite events has some big news this year: the last time it will be at San Manuel!
A new sound ordinance was put in place at Glen Helen Amphitheater this year, which means the music will have to end at midnight. Pasquale Rotella explained that while he looked for a new venue to host his event, he wanted to do one more year here, which you know what, I think sounds awesome!
There’s a pre-party set for Sept 13, and the weekend is a full moon weekend which is cool! They’re expanding all the campgrounds (probably to make up for the loss of the event going until 2am) and will have two silent discos.
The event will open at 3pm this year and there’s gonna be three new stages, new art installations. Insomniac is also bringing the Parliament Art Car for the first time to the West Coast to Nocturnal. I assume this is something that’s big at EDC Orlando!
Nocturnal is America’s longest running rave, and if I were you I wouldn’t miss out on it’s last time at this epic location. I know I’m not planning on missing out, and I’m already trying to convince some friends to camp it with me, because the camping there is just way too fun.
Passes on sale now.
booo I wanna go!!!!!!!

The new festival that is replacing Sasquatch over Memorial Day Weekend is called End of the Rainbow and is already looking amazing. Taking place at the iconic Gorge Amphitheater in Washington state, the three day festival will take place May 24-26.
Since I’m currently looking to fill the Memorial Day weekend void that Lightning in a Bottle has left by moving to a new weekend, this has peaked my interest.
Bassnectar is going to play two sets at this event alongside some other awesome artists including STS9, Griz and Flosstradamus. I’m assuming this can’t be the full lineup for the event, just the first release so I’ll be watching for more info!
Ticket sales started 2/15 starting at $199.
I’m loving the graphics on their poster and site and look forward to hearing how this event goes!
Sup Texas, this looks fun
