So many of the new up-and-coming EDM artists these days are just really generic and shitty.

Bleh. I’d like to hear more EDM that really excites me; I feel like there’s not a lot of that being produced lately.

However, I would agree with many of you that diverse, interesting EDM is out there, just harder to find. The now extremely formulaic nature of virtually all the chart-hitters is the problem. Which is sad. I wish more artists could break into the mainstream while still creating original, exciting music. If any of you have artist recommendations please bring them on.
