She is described as both red-furred and dark gray in the books but my preference goes out to her being dark gray.

Re-reading Wolves of the Beyond and despite not enjoying it I wanted to design some of the characters. 

Faolan’s design speaks for itself, and Edme has been described and shown as dark gray, which I prefer over her more common russet description, so I was like “fuck it she’s dark gray now”.
