The false jelly reksirg is a small jawless eel. It hangs out in small groups (5 to 8 individuals), scraping parasites off of larger sea creatures. They've also been known to clean off crustaceans that stick to boats, making them a welcome sight around harbords. The front part of their body is translucent, while the back is brightly colored; when they hang out as a group, they move their fins in a way that mimics the movement of a venomous jellyfish.

XENOFIC WEBCOMIC ANALYSIS

Here is a project I did for my Comic Art class about the animal-centric webcomics I grew up with! They were vital to the way I created (and still create) art and stories, and I also wanted to share some of my favorite webcomics! I think xenofic is very underrated as a whole, and I’m always an advocate for supporting indie artists.

I actually finished this a few months ago at the end of my school semester, but never got around to uploading it till now. (With the mastercard/visa stuff going on I thought this was a relevant time to post as well). (Note, this was written to be understood by people both within and outside of the community)

The Lapine native to Hawta travel less regularly than their Eastern relatives. So they have more need to protect themselves and usually prefer bludgeoning weapons like meteor hammers, maces, and slings. This lady is a trained guardian, but not a warrior, so she wears no armour and relies on her natural agility to avoid danger. There's great honour in Hawta for those who go unarmoured.
