Happy Easter everyone!! Edmund hopes that no one adopted/bought a bunny this year for those who are not ready for a 10+ year commitment. As adorable as Edmund is he’s my little menace. He chews wires, furniture, and who knows what else. With that said if you are ready for a bunny I hope you have a great time because as annoying as Edmund is I love him. This past Saturday I did the hardest thing I’ve done in my life...give up Opie. I didn’t want to. I love her so much. But it was for the better. Opie was chewing on anything she could get her teeth around. She had ruined many of my things and put her self in danger by chewing wires. I wanted Opie and I to be together for the long run but for her safety I had to surrender her back to the humane society. I cried for days. I want her back but I know it’s better this way. I know, given time, I won’t feel like a terrible person and remember that I am saving both of us. I still have Edmund and he has been my little light. He doesn’t seem to show any signs of missing Opie which is great because I would have felt even worse separating a bonded pair of bunnies. Edmund and I are doing fine and enjoying some bonding time I wasn’t able to give him before while I was having to monitor Opie.
