Mewgenics DLC possible content?
So we know that there is a confirmed DLC for Mewgenics in the works and I’ve been thinking, what is gonna be added?
It’s known for a fact we’re getting new Disorders which I’m assuming also means new passives and active abilities? These are all obvious choices I think but i had a thought that maybe we could get… an Online mode?
The Binding Of Isaac Repentance+ DLC has this new Online mode (in Beta) and I believe that Edmund and his team may do something very similar with Mewgenics but how would that work?
This could be done 2 different ways.
One way is possibly having a separate box where you can place ONE of your cats and leave to find a lobby where you will be paired with 3 other cats (each controlled by other people) and you just… go through a run like normal but with other people! I guess you could only play in runs where you are playing an act that you have unlocked so you can’t be only on Act 1 in the base game and end up in THE FUCKING INFINITE. Tho that would be funny. I don’t necessarily think that an online mod would allow for game progression and it would be more so, a mod just for fun! But also, you could probably get some good retired cats from it for House Bosses?? Who knows?!
The Second idea I had was an online mode where you do a turn based competition? One person is managing the crusading cats, and the other person is managing the enemies! This would probably be set up as a single battle type system but that begs the question, how would the CATS get all the abilities they need? Well… what if the person on the cats team picks the classes but all four of the Active abilities, and the two Passive abilities are randomized based on the class that cat is given!
These were just some fun little ideas I had but I wanna hear if YALL have any ideas for the upcoming DLC! Tell me! NOW!
