First real test of the @rideshimano S-PHYRE XC9 shoes was unqualified success. For most of the race at #EdSanderCX they were more muddy birds nests rather than shoes but they still engaged when I needed them. Definitely a mud fest today. It was kinda nuts out there but it was ridiculously fun. 🔥💥💯🌧💩🤘🏻✖️ (at Lilypons Water Gardens)

Syd and I immediately after my race at #EdSanderCX on Sunday. Debated posting this because skinsuits hide nothing and my midsection is stress testing that lycra like it's never been tested (the fade isn't a design element). But it's a fantastic shot of the both of us by Ben Kristy / @dominioncyclingphotography, and I might as well own that #thickboyzofcross aesthetic. Even though I'm nowhere near the fitness or weight I was 2 years ago, it does show me in a much better place mentally (which is the reason for the fitness and the midsection). I'll take the better head—fitness will come. . Thanks again for all the cheers and compliments on the videos, it means more than you possibly imagine. 🙏🏻🙌🏻✖️ . Okay, perhaps I got a *little* too close to the action at #edsandercx. The @zhiyun_tech Crane V2 and @sony a6300 combo put in strong work again this weekend. Perhaps pushed the conditions envelope shooting in that mist but everything seems to be working still.
