It’s not quite up to Luke Skywalker’s standards, but as far as bionic hands go in this galaxy, TV chef Eduardo Garcia is sporting one of the best available in the world. Designed by Touch Bionics, this prosthetic hand responds to muscle movement in the forearm through electrodes connected to the skin. The hand has a range of motion that also allows Garcia to grip in 25 different ways; an awful lot of dexterity for a man who lost his hand in a hunting accident.
