Stanton House fundraising tops £20k for EducAid
From climbing mountains to tackling obstacle courses and auctioning their skills off for charity, staff at professional services and technology recruiter Stanton House last year raised £20,615 for EducAid, a charity helping underprivileged and war-affected children in Sierra Leone.
The fundraising was enough to pay for the food, schooling and education of 82 children for an entire year – or the equivalent of funding the build of a small school in Sierra Leone.
Nick Eaves, chief customer officer at Stanton House was joined by chairman Andrew Brown and Erin Northey, CEO of EducAid, to present the charity with a cheque for the yearly fundraising.
Andrew Brown generously matched the staff’s £10k target, pushing the total over the £20k threshold for EducAid.
