Ricky and Steve: A lot of what?

Karl: Y'know, sort of demicky ones, ones that aren't right, really.

Steve: Demicky?

Ricky: Demicky?

Karl: Well, y'know, like, they weren't, they weren't... properly. They weren't...

Ricky: They weren't properly?!

Steve: They weren't...

Ricky: Sorry, but Karl, what are you doing?!

Karl: Right, I'm getting to the story, so what I'm telling you is...

Ricky: They weren't - they were a bit demicky so they weren't properly?

Karl: Basically...

Steve: Have you started making words up?!

MTV have offered Karl the opportunity to record a screen test but he’s reluctant. Karl interviews a woman who claims to have a ghost living in her house in a feature called ‘Pilkington’. Educating Ricky episode 7 is also featured.

Educating Ricky was a feature in which Karl attempted to teach Ricky some interesting bits of trivia. Typically, Karl would have three nuggets of information to offer, and would give each one a "teaser" headline that usually involved a pun. Though the conceit of the feature was to inform Ricky and Steve, often times the two would have to clarify or completely refute what Karl told them. The title of the feature is a pun on the film Educating Rita.

Steve: So there's a midget jumping up and down, the hippo's getting annoyed.

Ricky: The crowd are going mad, the midget's loving it, can't believe his luck, you think he probably knows he's dicing with danger.

Karl: Yeah, so next thing you know they're all saying "higher, higher", he gives it one big heavy landing on the trampoline, goes really high but goes off at a funny angle, hypotenuse.

Steve: (laughs) Okay.

Ricky: (laughs) Hypotenuse! Hypotenuse!

Steve: Sure.

Karl: Flys off at a funny angle, hippo's there, swallows him whole, crowd are clapping, thinking that's why the hippo was waiting there.

Steve: (laughs out loud)

Ricky: Rubbish, rubbish.

Karl: It's not rubbish though.
