I dislike the headcanon of Sirius being a genius. Sirius knows so much and doesn't have to study because knowledge has been drilled into him by his parents and expensive tutors during his entire childhood leading up to Hogwarts. Just imagine how differently Lily or Remus were prepared for Hogwarts! I need fics where the educational divide between wizarding pureblood families and Muggleborn wizards is explored more. Classist purebloods look at struggling muggleborns and use their struggle as proof that they are not the same, while ignoring that they had eleven years of pre-Hogwarts schooling.
