I realised I never shared this yet! My Volunteer-led and run CIC, The Skull Index, did an outreach talk at the Leicester University Botanical Gardens last month! My friend, outreach & promo staff member, Grace (that_vegan_vulture & grb.bones on Instagram) traveled down the country to help out at the stall too! We had a guessing game for kids and adults to match the species with the skulls, and gave out stickers to participants! We aim to encourage interaction with specimens for all ages, it helps engage both children and adults when that specimen can be touched rather than behind glass at a museum! We hope to do more outreach talks under The Skull Index over the year and the next! :)
