Super frustrated with an admin in my district. I was literally in a meeting with her and other principals on Friday where she said she did not want to stress out the teachers. Today, I get an email that says she wants me to try to get them to work at higher levels on the SAMR model. WTF, my goal is for everyone to get out of this sane and alive. My current trainings are focused on using basic tools qell. It will not help teachers to force them to try bigger more in depth projects and push never before done things out onto kids. I don't even know what to say. Especially with the complete 180 from one day ago. I will offer more options for training to appease her, but seriously, my job would be perfect without principals. Just let me help teachers do better at their speed with a little push to accelerate at appropriate times when the world isn't ending.
Educators, can you help me out?
I'm looking for a state that offers Educational Technology Specialist or Educational Technology Leader certification...One that requires a content area exam and one that provides students with a study guide with practice questions.
I'm scheduled to take the exam in my state soon and have studied previous class material and various Quizlets. I also completed the practice questions from New York, Illinois, California, Colorado, Georgia, Ohio, and the Consortium for School Networking.
However, I would like to prepare more and have had trouble finding other states that offer this certification. It is not the same as Technology Education.
Thanks in advance. Even if no one is able to help, I appreciate you reading this. :)
Is AI going to lead future technology?
If we talk about future technology then the answer is to expect incremental improvements with AI. AI moving into areas where there is money to be made, we see recommendations for the products from shopping sites, we see different recommendations as per our interest. Today some of these are annoying notices telling you that you might want to buy some extra item that you don’t need or your private browsing history that recommend other things that may not want to see again. We expect this AI technology to improve to the point where it might actually be helpful. Companies are strongly motivated to get this right. Much better-targeted advertising too. You will see better AI in software too, better spelling auto corrects, better content recommendations that look at a wider context. These are really incremental improvements we will see in the coming future. AI will lead technology in every sector from education, transport, automobile, construction, healthcare and almost everywhere.

Technology :
Technology is the world now. Modern technology affects people's daily life.
Whether to motivate someone to become the owner of a video game, or let someone become a computer hacker. It quickly changed the teenagers' generation. It makes this generation more greedy, ignorant and lazy. For example, my parents have never created such a cell phone or a high-tech computer.
