Early in the 50's, Elwain Steinkamp continued his Bel Air homes development over the Mulholland ridge and into the hills of Sherman Oaks. He coined the neighborhood high above the San Fernando Valley, Sherwood Park. Edward H. Fickett, F.A.I.A. worked closely with Steinkamp and Stanley Martsen developing the upper tracts of Sherman Oaks. Their relationship would garner multiple awards for Fickett's home designs. *Note the Sherwood Park sign mimicking the Hollywood Sign in the lower picture Sherwood Park Award-Winning Homes Edward H.
