Henry York and Cyrus Smith should meet.
Henry should also meet Antigone.
And Daniel.
Henry’s brothers and sisters, too.
Although I like to imagine Antigone meeting Hyacinth.
I also like to imagine Hyacinth killing Phoenix.

Dr. Edwin Laughlin, known to all as Dr. Phoenix, is feared and reviled by the Order. He kidnapped seven acolytes and experimented on them, leading to their deaths; among these were Harriet and Circe Smith and the older brother of Rupert Greeves. He wanted to make himself immortal. Not just transmortal, but immortal. He wanted to create an army to rule the world.
Meanwhile, his brother was the Brendan, the leader of the entire Order of Brendan.
If any two were polar opposites, it’s them. There must be a story there.
As an aside, it’s hinted that Phoenix’s father experimented on him too, which probably gave him his first ideas. What about his brother? What is their family history? What happened to the Brendan’s children that Oliver Laughlin, his grandson, is all that’s left of his family?
I NEED MORE BACKGROUND INFORMATION. MORE CHAPTERS OF THE SILENT BELLS, WHERE ARE YOU?
Phoenix was a troubled young Acolyte, huh? YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN.
