Who’s the one to wake up the kids: finley! he absolutely loves seeing the kids first thing in the morning and he always has a lot of energy at an early hour. Who makes breakfast: isaac. especially if it’s a big breakfast. finley can provide cereal or toast but he can’t cook so things like pancakes, bacon and eggs aren’t an option if he’s the only one there to make breakfast. Who’s the more discipline parent and who’s the more lenient one: i’d say that isaac is better at discipline, which is something you wouldn’t expect if you didn’t know him well. he can be very firm when he needs to be, which is good because finley is like an overgrown child himself sometimes. Who helps with the science fair: well, definitely not finley. so isaac by default. though fin would try to help if it was something cool like a volcano. Who does baby talk: both of them. Who wakes up for midnight feedings: i’d say they take turns. finley is harder to wake up though so isaac is sweet and lets him sleep sometimes. Who’s the one who always worries: they both do, but isaac a little more. Who picks up the kids early from school for some fun: this is such a finley move. he loves surprising his kids and going on fun adventures. but honestly, often he brings isaac along too because he would rather the entire family was there. Who’s the competitive parent: i don’t really think either of them would be. they just want their kids to do the best they can. Who kisses the ouches: they both do. they take turns kissing them over and over until it feels better. Who’s the sucker for the puppy eyes: FINLEY!  Who makes the “dad jokes”: god, they’re both stupid so both of them. but finley is worse. he thinks he’s funny. Who embarrasses their kid for fun: finley loves this, but i could also see them doing it together. embarrassing gay dads for the win! Who’s the over protective one: they’re both very protective in slightly different ways, so it’s hard to say who would be more so. Who’s the “take a sweater!” parent: isaac. he would have to remind finley to take a sweater as well.

With a belting roar — the newly leveled Beta had diminished the remaining opponents and sent the others running. The training had been extensive and intense. But Dean had not only prevailed, he had triumphed and his status had been bumped. He hadn’t wanted to celebrate but it was obvious that Raleigh was proud of this accomplishment. He was far better at control and being commanded. His Beta was never slow to jump at whatever was asked of him. So when they had needed to deal with a pack of rogue wolves: Raleigh looked no further than his trusted and well-deserved Beta. There had been times where it been hard for both of them. But they’ve come to this point together and they weren’t about to sit around on their laurels.

His name was weak, dropping from between his Alpha’s lips. Sharply pivoting, he spots Raleigh on the ground with a hand over his torso. Swallowing roughly, he rushed to Ral’s side and dropped to his knees. He has a fresh look of fear in his eyes, reaching, he lifts the fellow werewolf’s hand to access the damage and his face went pale. Dean wasn’t good at showing emotions. He usually wasn’t but this was Raleigh. It was different. Things had shifted so much when it all of this had transpired. He couldn’t breath, much less focus. The ghostly pallor of his Alpha was sending rivots of doubt piercing into his spine. Tongue scraping his lower lip, he returned his hand over the gaping wound and knew he couldn’t lie about the fatality. Not to Raleigh. Not to his Alpha.

In a fit of laughter, they tumbled in the grass, and only moments before rushing against each other with violent gusto. Not even the foreshadowing of a battle—serious or otherwise—could take away their laughter. Rolling over each other, they playfully fought for dominance. In the end, Saga came out the victor, hands pinning the other’s to the ground and legs locking together. Breaths mingled in the same way as limbs, chests pressed together too intimately for rough housing. And faces, mere inches apart. On an impulse, Saga made an attempt to touch their lips, only to be smashed uncomfortably against Aiolos’ mouth as the one underneath lifted his hips far off the ground, pitching the unsuspecting Gemini forward. After a moment, more wrestling, giggles and tight hugs were exchanged. Saga got his kiss.
