dabi will never, ever say this. never let on about it; do his upmost to grumble about how annoying it is to be stuck sleeping in a big room together, how boss man could wipe them all out any second with an accidental touch of his quirk, stupid Toga mutters in her sleep about ‘blood’ & that ‘deku,’ brat, & compress can bring the walls down with his snores...
but dabi likes sharing a room.
he’s not good at sleeping alone. he always bunked with Natsuo, would sneak into his room when he wasn’t, and he’s never quite gotten that primal comfort of someone’s warmth, and soft exhales out of his system.
it’s nice to wake up and know you’re not alone.
sure, frequent baths would be nice & Twice does kick like a motherfucker when he gets real deep in his REM cycles, but Dabi likes when they can all cram into a space; when he can reach out and touch someone’s shoulder, or listen to Spinner’s huffing wheezes as he dreams.
