Anyway I think making her have a crush on Blathers is the funniest thing I could have done with her tbh

Anyway I imagine her house is full of bug stuff, like the bug poster. Maybe possibly the cute set of items? She usually likes natural and muted colours, like brown and green and stuff, but she also loves wearing cute dresses and stuff so it would make sense if she had cutesy furniture too

There’s a reason beyond “haha funny” to why she likes Blathers too I swear LMAO. She’s a huge biology nerd, especially towards bugs. Naturally. So when she found out there was a museum??? With a bug exhibit??? She just HAD to go see it. She met Blathers, he was obviously terrified of her because she’s a SCORPION, and she didn’t entirely realize he was afraid of bugs and just thought his awkward, nervous demeanor was charming and cute. She just made it a habit to visit the museum and she got attached to Blathers and decided they’re friends and they’re getting soft tacos later (much to Blathers’s dismay)

Anyway Callie doesn’t mean to scare anyone. She’s a sweetheart really. She’s a little introverted, but hardly gets upset. If you hit her with a net she’d probably be like “excuse me. i know I’m a scorpion but please don’t try to sell me. I’m a little too big for that net anyway”

She’s also pretty physically strong for someone who’s usually sitting under trees and reading? It took her a while to learn how to use a fishing rod with her claws, so she originally just wrangled fish out of the water by hand claw. It was kind of funny to watch actually

TL;DR she’s big smart but there are no thoughts behind those big cute eyes

Anyway I redrew Buggie’s Culinary Crucible card because I was REALLY not happy with it originally. My shading was super harsh and stuff.

Also I was thinking about how none of the canon characters pull their HAIR BACK in these cards. Like ppl with short hair are fine but JAMIL. PUT THE BANGS AWAY /hj

So Buggie pulled its hair back AND took out the dice earrings for Culinary Crucible because it knows proper cooking etiquette. Which is REALLY funny to me simply because of How Buggie Is Usually
