That... actually worked. Huh.
This is my reblog area, pretty much. Whenever I needa reblog stuff, it goes here... so, yup. Welcome.
I decided to take a crack at making a skullsona for myself. This is the result. Say hello to Eve. Her profile and story are the same as the ones I provided here.
Eve's ghost powers revolve around light and shadow, and creating illusions with same. She can manipulate the darkness around her to hide (which is good, because she's a pretty shy ghost and a bit of a crybaby :P). Eve has a very active imagination, and if she sets her mind to it, she can create some rather impressive, convincing, and fantastical visuals. Unfortunately, she's still fairly new to the whole ghost thing, and doesn't have very good control over her powers, which can often lead to her inadvertently broadcasting her thoughts - or worse, scaring herself with her own fearful mind - through her illusions.
(To elaborate on the problem I mentioned above, I have some paranoid tendencies and am relatively impressionable, and even something as simple as unexpected scary music/atmosphere in a game can lead to me having a fear-induced meltdown if I'm not careful. Also frightening things tend to linger in my mind for a while and give me minor paranoid episodes when I'm alone in the dark with my thoughts. I kid you not, months after the fact, I still have a small amount of anxiety about opening doors at night because I'm always scared that Bonnie the Bunny will be waiting for me right outside. I've also had a meltdown over sudden scary music and monsters in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, and for a brief period of time, I was scared of an alien letter X that kept appearing and whistling a parody of the X-Files theme throughout an episode of Sesame Street that I caught a part of WHEN I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL. So yeah, I love creepy stuff, but it does terrible things to me if you don't give me fair warning in advance.)
Fun fact: The flower in Eve's hair is a Diphylleia grayi, or "skeleton flower", a weird and awesome flower with petals that turn transparent when wet. The unexpected change this flower undergoes seemed fitting for Eve's theme of illusions in her powers, and the pun was a nice little bonus.
