It’s almost impossible to tell who you can or can trust in this world. With the heightened tensions between the kingdoms as they prepared for war, traveling was definitely more difficult. Probably doesn’t help that I’ve been trying to disguise myself as a human, sneaking around in an underground... ruin of sorts? I’m not entirely sure myself but I heard there was a book somewhere around here. In fact, the rest of the flock here probably heard the same.
Glancing around, my attention falls on a very... particular beastkin. She seemed to know just exactly what she was looking for -- or maybe she was trying every little thing from the books? With the other adventure seekers mingling with themselves, I decide to approach, pretty impulsive of me, I know.
“Hey there...” I waved meekly, making sure my hair was in my face as much as possible. “Are you here for the book by any chance? Do you want to team up? I just want to see the book ...so if you want the reward, it’s all yours.”
