Loyal and Faithful//OPEN

No one wanted this Eevee, anyone who did adopt her usually took her back within a week. Common issues she had included social issues and plain unfriendliness. They didn’t seem to have the patience to try and raise a creature such as that.

She paced about her kennel within the humble little adoption center for pokemon. The volunteers did not like having to wrangle her into a leash to take her for walks, so they stopped trying. Her few kennel mates had been adopted away long ago, and they did not make any comebacks. Once, when being taken outside, the Eevee saw that the price of adoption on her kennel had been marked down to an unbelievably cheap $5.

That was another thing. While she looked and acted like a normal Eevee for the most part, she hid a secret intelligence and ability within her. No one had noticed it before she was returned again.

Now she lazily hid under her blankets, giving passersby an empty look. Someone was looming in front of her price tag...

Boredom in being Alone//OPEN

Rind was lying on her side, staring at nothing in particular. It was a very slow, very lazy day. And Rind was completely bored. On a day like this, Rind would be roughhousing with a sibling or exploring the world outside. But now she was holed up in some human nest and told to stay put. Don't do this, can't do that, stay away from there, don't leave here... being young and a critically endangered species was no fun. She was tired of staying put. Rind picked herself up and began to wander around indoors, looking for anything that could be of interest.

Tough Battle//OPEN

Rind held her paw up to her nose and whined softly. She was bloodied and injured after a battle she pushed herself too hard in. Ashamed of her injury, she slowly limped off to find something to patch herself up with.

Mother Rind// open

An Eevee wearing a faded red ribbon zipped through the woods in hot pursuit of a rabbit. After another few moments of chasing it, the Eevee eventually caught up to her prey and killed it. She didn’t know someone was watching her...

She carried her fresh kill to a small pile of other prey she had caught that day, a squirrel, a bird, and a scrawny mouse. She managed to stuff the bird and squirrel into her jaws along with the rabbit and buried the mouse again, saving it for a rainy day. She hurried back to a burrow she had made out of a large and dead tree, where three tiny kits waited for their mother.  Mímir was the eldest male, followed by his brother Hiruko. The youngest stood out between her two brothers, as little Valkyrie had a shining gray pelt. She was much smaller than her brothers, and appeared to be sickly.

Rind hurried to them and dropped her prey, giving the bird to Hiruko and the squirrel to Mímir. She gave the rabbit to Valkyrie and watched her eat. Rind mentally kicked herself for leaving the mouse behind, she was starting to get hungry as well. Suddenly, a twig snapped from underneath someone’s foot. Rind instantly went into protective mode and ushered her kits further into the burrow for protection. She snarled at the supposed stranger approaching her nest, and her remaining family.
