Psst - Oxytocin is not a "female" hormone. It has a variety of functions beyond childcare and breastfeeding, and is present in everyone (besides, there is no male vs. female brain anyhow).
you’re right and I’ve corrected the post! I initially wrote ‘female hormone’ as it was described as such here. On further research I found out more about the hormone so I’ve added to the post too. Thank you for pointing this out!

Hi hi sav!
3.What are some tropes or details that you think are very characteristic of your fics? - Identity - The ocean - mundane moments that feel very big - repeating symbols/motifs that may or may not have meaning - I think I can put ascii art here too? 7. Any worldbuilding you’re particularly proud of?
Other than everything dodgeball I caught in becoming Eden? probably the math to figure out the sound speed in liquid oxygen to describe what the submerged piano would sound like in it.
28. Does anyone read your fics before you post them? If so, who? In the past I have have 2 beta readers! the most often one is @frogenthusiastt and I share snipits with friends pretty constantly. but for the most part no beta we die like rem.
psst whales were ancestors of dog-like animals, with whiskers and paws... not horses, not even close. I don't know if anyone else has told you this but its seriously true and idk sorry im a stickler for evolution
heyyyy I majored in genetics & evolution in college so I am toooo………………. psst I was making a joke and it was neither horse nor dog as that’s not how evolution works
turns out, you’re not totally wrong - but you are wrong. the last land ancestor of whales was definitely hooved. scientists agree upon this. but some think it may have been a “wolf-like” hooved animal. Either way, it was an even-toed ungulate - aka, a hooved animal like giraffe, deer, rhino, etc., and (according to some googling) the one that re-entered the sea to become what we know as larger whales was likely early enough to also be a common ancestor of horses.
sorry if correcting your correction made me sound a bit a bitch… but i love evolution and the science of it and i didn’t have to memorize the evolution of 15 different genuses of crabs to NOT put this knowledge to use
many people think dolphins and porpoises are descendants of pig ancestors who re-entered the water. so that’s another cool thing.
