Egg doesn’t have teeth, so she eats things whole and either swallows them for later, or dissolves them in acidic ink, to actually eat them. In the same vein, Egg can also spit acidic ink to protect herself. 

But... her aim is terrible with being blind, so she usually defaults to screaming and hiding.

Egg was at it again. Hope hadn’t come in with Chamyle today, so the blind concept toon was left on her own and to her own devices as she kind of.... tried to navigate with an ink pen in her mouth. It wasn’t easy, though- nothing was easy at her height- and she ended up running right into someone’s chest and falling on her rear like you’d expect a gag character to do.

Little did she know she actually ran into the star of the show. She couldn’t even see him and yet she still folded her hands and bowed her head in apology, pen still in her mouth.

Just wait until she heard Oreo’s voice.
