Still Life - Eggs
This week in studio I tried to emulate two egg images.

This is a stock image so don’t know who the original photographer was unfortunately
After a few changes of light modifiers and some playing with different ways to reduce the light so that it was more focused to try to get a spot light without the bottom of the egg being too bright this was the best I managed.
After taking a few different images with my black background I’ve come to the conclusion that a solid black background might be better as no matter how much I iron this one I still get creases
Think I might need to reduce the yellow a bit too. I also think I need a bigger bit of perspex so that I can bring the egg forward a bit to gives more even feel to the image instead of two different textures between backdrop and base
