Easter Egg Fruit Cookies-Deliciously Sweet Treats
These Egg Sprinkle Cookies are soft, buttery, and bursting with colorful sprinkles. They're perfect for any occasion, and kids will love them!
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup colorful sprinkles.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on baking sheets. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a medium-sized bowl using a whisk. Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar in a large bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy. Mix the egg and vanilla extract into the butter mixture until everything is well mixed together. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ones one at a time and mix them together until a soft dough forms. Add the colorful sprinkles slowly. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheets that have been prepared, leaving space between each cookie. You can use a cookie scoop or a spoon for this. Press down a little on each cookie with the back of the spoon. After the oven is hot, bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to turn golden. Take the cookies out of the oven and leave them on the baking sheets for five minutes to cool down. Place the cookies on wire racks to cool all the way through.
