Hasegawa Egg Girls Collection No.07 Haku Rinpha (China Dress) resin garage kit build January 10th, 2023

Another easy-to-build Eggplane Girl resin figure kit. The decals are nice, parts separation makes it easy to paint, and it comes together rather easily. I decided to add some underarm decoration, considering that she’s a Chinese girl. Hey, I think it’s cute. Natural girls are better than nasty tattoo girls, in my opinion. Not every natural girl is a moonbat.

If I ever find this kit again, I’d like to make molds of my Morrigan gachapon’s wings and attach them to this kit to make a custom Corona-chan figure.

Hasegawa Eggplane P-40 plastic model build photoset May 18th, 2022

This is Hasegawa’s P-40 Eggplane, with modifications. The kit comes as basically a P-40K with appropriate decals of the Flying Tigers after they were incorporated into the US Army. I wanted to build this as an AVG Flying Tigers P-40B. To do so, I removed one gun from each wing, as the P-40K has six wing guns while the P-40B only has 4. I added two nose guns, which were spare parts from Academy’s 1:48 scale P-40 kit that matched the shape, so I repurposed them as guns. The decals came from Airfix’s 1:72 P-40B kit. Those decals are a bit of a disappointment for everyone, since the Republic of China roundels are entirely too pale of a color. Perhaps Airfix was going for a sun-bleached effect? They don’t look so good, so I decided to put them on this kit instead. The decals are Charles Older’s #68 of Hell’s Angels. This is actually my third 68 build, so when I build the Airfix kit, I will use aftermarket decals from Microscale instead.

Hasegawa Egg Girls Collection No.02: Haku Rinpha w/ Chinese J-15 photoset May 15th, 2020

This kit is a repop of the Su-33 Flanker D Eggplane, molded in red plastic. (The Chinese J-15 is an imported Russian Flanker.) It comes with a 1:20 scale resin figure of Eggplane Girl Haku Rinpha. I used a few leftover decals from the Su-33 build for this kit. I mostly followed the painting guides, but I chose a few differences, such as white intakes instead of yellow. Since the gloss looked so nice, I kept this kit gloss.

Hasegawa 12 Egg Girls Collection No.1: Rei Hazumi resin garage kit photoset May 7th, 2020

I finished this 1:12 scale resin figure of Rei Hazumi by Hasegawa. It used to be that the only way to buy resin garage kits of Eggplane Girls was at the Wonder Festival events in Japan. Now, fortunately, Hasegawa makes these resin kits themselves.

Hasegawa F-14 Tomcat Eggplane plamo build gallery October 18th, 2019

Here’s a fun build. Make sure you add extra weights to the nose so that it won’t be a tail sitter. I originally thought to use the decals for the Jolly Rogers, but instead I chose the Bombcats because I’m currently working on a 1:72 Hasegawa Tomcat with the Jolly Rogers decals.

Hasegawa Egg Girls Collection No.22 Haku Rinpha (Pajamas) resin garage kit build January 9th, 2023

This is an easy kit that came in just a very few parts. Nice flower decals for her pajama top. Her panties and bra have an embroidered pattern to them. I airbrushed her bush with black paint. For the see-through look to her bra and panties, I masked those areas off, airbrushed Gaia Notes 050 Clear White over the flesh/hair parts, then hand-brushed the white for the lace effect. I think it turned out nicely.

Light haul from the #rducon #imps event last weekend, along with a stop at Hangar 18 down in #raleighnc. Had a great time on a quick one day trip down to support the community with my bro @pt_pointless_hero. Picked up an mg #hizack a couple of #eggplane that I had no idea what to do with, but some ideas have started flowing... Also grabbed a #simp resin sniper rifle to go with a future haul. Good little haul, great little trip. Anxious for the next event already!
