This is Feverfire’s dad, Eggspeckles! He’s like one sneeze away from falling over bc he’s old, and due to Feverfire being a chimera, he kind of sort of constantly accuses her of being a changeling. He really should go to the elder’s den, but Sweetstar (Prairie Clowder’s leader) is insistent on letting him go ‘on his own time’ so the rest of the Clowder has to deal with him mistaking twigs and leaves for freshkill and leaving them on the pile

at first, it would be Eggspeckles to find Rootkit, taking her to the clan and taking the kit under her wind, despite Marigoldstar's appearant displeasure of even letting the small thing live in the first place. the clan would get along with Rootkit pretty nicely, most likely Flamepaw would be the closest, with her upbringing personality. when time would come, Eggspeckles, wanting to keep Rootpaw close, would asign her as his own apprentice, for the two to be in the medicine den together, just like when Rootkit was younger. Eggspeckles wouldn't understand what was it about Rootpaw's past, but would never push, always answering any questions asked to the best of his abilities. Swanbeak would grow fond of Rootpaw, deciding it would be cute to give her lavender, to tie her hair back into something sleeker looking and less messy. after the training of a medicine cat, The Spirits, who Rootpaw was suprised at their existance, for they were.. different from StarClan to say the least, would get her full name of Rootember(hmmmm reference..... yummy).
