Rapunzel… But Different
So I just started What Once Was Mine by Liz Braswell (which is part of Disney’s A Twisted Tale book series) and the whole moonflower Rapunzel made me want to draw it. I’m very early into the book (like page 32) so who knows if that’s what she actually looks like and isn’t the villain.
My idea was definitely diary style (I have no patience for painting currently) but I wanted the amazing green dress from the Tangled concept art, and thought it would compliment the platinum hair pretty well. I tried to keep in a similar but opposite colour scheme in a way, and I think it turned out great. So here’s to the first drawing of 2022!

New Dream Appreciation Week Day 2: Royal Duties
Every princess needs a royal escort.
I have no idea what princesses do but whatever her duty is, I think it’s part of the captain’s duty to escort her majesty to that responsibility.
I think this is my favourite out of the 7. Btw I head canon that Edmund gives Raps a Dark Kingdom necklace as like an engagement gift or something. Oh another thing, the sleeves on this dress is a similar fabric to the sleeves on her nightgown. Y’know, that see through stuff.
