Tigress.
Phoenix
It sounded like the
feeling of a sawblade
across the throat
It felt like the sound
of a firebrand plunged
into a soul
Fever blooded, every
nerve a cheese-wire whip
every cell an inferno
Fleshy, splay toed
hook mawed
moving like a tumor
on legs
From the kiln of its body it spat forth
Tiger.
I had a really short, really intense dream this morning with some really fun horrifying scenes in it.
Being on a beach with all this scattered washed up dead fish detritus in various states of decay. Old mummified fish corpses in piles washed up against the edges of the path with fresh silver segments strewn all over, and the waves kept rising, and the sky was dark, blank and dark, and we're standing there and out of nowhere this 20-foot wall of cold water just rushes up over us and over the whole beach then a few seconds later recedes with the faint sense that a bigger one will follow.
And a trip on a bus at night that ended, when the driver refused to ever stop or let me disembark, with me somehow slitting a vein to some place other and pressing from the outside-in and inside-out came all these rot-coloured writhing and formless jewelbright worm-shaped shapeless things, pressing with tectonic weight into the space and oozing out of people's flesh like play-dough out a sieve. And it worked. It got the bus to stop. And when I was out I had to sever the connection of them, like lopping off a great head, and send them back, because they were so indiscriminate with what they consumed, and would have undone all the other passengers.

Speak your own language day makes me wonder how I'd do liekuu-speak as roman lettering. First thing is ? the second is a mantra the last an short prayer or expression similar to 'amen' in it's frequency of use.
After drawing rat-bug I kinda feel I should be filling up that sketchbook with more Eichidna Plane fauna. Nicest paper for it. Much inspired. Eichidna Plane stuff either hops into my head fully formed or gives me the run-around and that sketchbook in particular is good for noodling out ideas on.
I think it's the nice leathery smell.
It's 60% tyranids at the moment.
That's not bad thing though.
(I should be in bed an hour ago, so, goodnight)
For morning reference:
The Steed, twin rectangular rods shoulders/head.
Alive tubes for the gun faced things, spitting fire, Rapier, etc.
Butterfly metallic chitin extend mouth folds. Revving teeth. Arms at hips, many layer wing cut off.

If the Magmavore works on this paper I shall cry the tears of victory
