the main rule when you're a mafia excecutive: you don't just disappear without warning, especially not if you're going to reappear at a later point. if your excuse was something along the lines of "i got spirited away to some alternative universe", then you'd probably have better chances of forgiveness if you'd been dead.
needless to say, waking up in yokohama was a familiar, but not a welcome sight.
even less so because the sight of yokohama that met him was viewed through the windows of his own apartment as if he had just woken up any other day.
"chuuya-sama, is everything okay in there?" a voice accompanying a knock on his door most likely belonged to a subordinate because he was taking his time. only more confused, he grunted a vague remark in return that seemed to be satisfying enough.
it couldn't have been a dream. he knew that. he was not capable of dreaming. movement in the corner of his eye also revealed this to be impossible.
