a list of verses; verses are open for plotting but i prefer we at least discuss things first as i'm keeping interactions limited for my own sanity. the supernatural will be the main focus of this blog and i'm claiming these ideas solely for myself and my partners. please don't steal.

supernatural au; a pact made.

when diana reid was pregnant with their first child, william reid saw the signs in his wife. days locked away behind a closed door without setting foot outside. barely eating. speaking to herself in the mirror and chalking it up to just rambling about nothing. night after sleepless night of pacing. subtle at first. an episode here. an episode there. their doctor blamed it on 'pregnancy brain' and made her promise to take better care of herself. they smile said they would. she didn't because she couldn't.

slowly, her lectures began to taper off. her mind a million miles away more than ever in their zip code much less their house. william couldn't reach her where she was. so, he went digging. further back into her family history past her parents and grandparents. then began to see a gut wrenching sign. genius runs in the family. with it? madness.

upon speaking with experts and receiving barely any help other than medical testing that neither one of them were willing to do. he went looking elsewhere. in places diana would say weren't real. weren't science. william never told her. holistic healers. spiritual counselors. anyone that might have some alternative medicine to help where traditional medicine and theory failed.

he found it in a man who promised him he would guide her back to brilliance and erase the dark. friend of a friend of a self-proclaimed witch. helped dozens and dozens of people who were lost find themselves again. old medicine and self enlightenment. all he had to do was promise that his son would follow in their path. they'd even unlock the unborne's mind to a potential that most humans could only dream of achieving. genius? he would inherit that from his parents. a wholly open mind? one they could call upon if needed? power only they held. in turn? they'd look after him, too.

it took months of convincing. months of proving to a man of logic that this was real. that this would work. time after time, he was allowed to see the potential of healed minds, bodies, souls. hopes granted. dreams lived. that kind of hope when you're three sheets to hopelessness corrupts.

his wife back. son protected. william, eventually in desperation, gave in.

supernatural; state the facts.

prelude; spencer was born october 12th, 1983. azazel visited january 12th, 1984 and fed the infant his blood while diana was asleep. spencer had already inherited a genius intellect from his mother. the demon blood would further open his mind, revealing an eidetic memory that breaks the meaning of the word, psychic premonitions and the ability to sense auras (later see them). spencer's powers only grow as he ages and once azazel sets out to gather 'his children' to him, they snap out of control.

neither parent was murdered in the aftermath of spencer receiving the blood. but william would leave later in spencer's life after azazel possessed a local horrid soul gary michaels; a suspect of murdering a young boy named riley jenkins who's father was a hunter. an already psychopathic but now demonic influenced gary began to stalk spencer drawing the attention of even further suspicion from diana. she reached out to the murdered boy's father, lou, only to discover that he was already in the process of taking care of gary. days later, the hunter was spotted by her entering gary's home. diana followed and found lou standing over gary's body.

she helps get rid of the evidence and is found by william who is horrified and assists her. through these events, diana finds out the world around them isn't all what it seems. william's deal is discovered and it breaks her fragile mental state triggering her psychosis to a crippling extent that will fluctuate for the rest of her life.

spencer's canon life takes place up to quantico. he enters it two years earlier than canon to line up with supernatural's timeline. season one of supernatural takes place in time with season one of criminal minds. season two and the events of spencer's kidnapping during revelations and aftermath are 2006-2007. spencer is taken hostage by tobias in season two of supernatural which begins to crack the walls built around his demonic blood abilities. those powers are grouped in with spencer's PTSD and worry those around him that he may be exhibiting signs of growing mental illness. he becomes addicted to the drug dilaudid that was forced upon him during his capitivity. both for the physical dependency as well as mental. he relapses several times throughout my canon and continues to fight and struggle (mostly privately) with his addiction.

spencer was not at the gathering of azazel's children and was kept on reserves for a round two should none of them live up to azazel's plan that never happened. sam dies. events unfold the same on both shows. spencer was 22 when he joined the fbi. 23 when kidnapped and held hostage. the events of cold oak happen once spencer is rescued from tobias hankel during his recovery time.

stats; spencer will be written in mostly seasons one through six. most of his canon events stand but i will be adding a supernatural element of azazel continuing to interfere with his dreams and abilities, nursing another round of his special children as a back up plan. azazel's murder does not free spencer from the blood same as sam. the encounter with sam and dean only worsens the situation.

first encounter with the winchesters; mid season two before cold oak events. they run into one another on a missing person's case in moundsville, west virginia. the old west virginia state penitentiary houses many malevolent spirits and it's there that several security guards are murdered throughout the years. a group of thrill seeking teenagers go missing and the bau and the winchesters clash. sam and spencer recognize there is something off about one another. sam is the one who puts the mystery together. spencer doesn't buy into anything about it at first. argues logic instead of paranormal. the two keep crossing paths in spite of hotchner threatening arrest. spencer keeps seeing the winchesters again to himself after curiosity leads him to investigating the facility late at night on his own. azazel is behind the initial encounter using sam to nudge spencer's powers into awakening further. spencer leaves west virginia with new nightmares, psychic abilities flooding in and visions of a yellow-eyed man following him. he self-diagnoses and starts seeking medication to quell what he thinks is a quickly approaching mental breakdown. nothing works.
