Abigail was relieved that they were fishing, she needed something to keep off from her nightmares, and what Hannibal did to her. She still vividly remembered the sharp cold bite of steel as Hannibal sliced her neck open, and all the monstrous things he made her do.

She breathed in the cold fresh air, listening to the burbling sound of the river. It calmed her slightly.

As she adjusted her grip on the fishing rod though, it brought her back to reality.

She shook her head, realizing that this activity reminded her too much of when she'd gone hunting for deer with her father, dredging up horrific memories of what he had done to her.

She glanced over at Will, who was beside her, a haunted expression in her eyes.
