Apparently it’s writers appreciation day, so I felt obliged to do some quick shout outs to my personal faves!
@eileithyia-ya - You’ve been one of my all time favorites from the very beginning. I absolutely adore your writing style and ability for writing details. Your descriptions are always so pictorial and beautiful, they are just perfect. You always put so much effort into your research to get your facts straight and it shows in the portrayal of characters. They are always so spot on, even the ones that are so hard to write. Seriously, everytime you introduce Luffy in a chapter, I believe I’m reading the manga! I don’t know how you do it, but your understanding for their personalities is admirable. Not to mention that you are awesome as a person yourself! I love talking to you, even if we don’t always share the same opinion on ships or whatever. It’s nice to discuss our different points of views with each other without any malice, because I truly believe that listening to other’s insights sometimes really helps understanding where they are coming from, if you know what I mean. So yeah, I love you lots and I hope to read more from you in the future :D
@storyquipster - You are one of the nicest and most precious people that I’ve ever encountered in my life. Sometimes I can’t believe that you are real :’D But beyond being such a lovely and understanding person, you are also an amazing writer! I like the way you see and interpret characters. I also love that you are doing your own thing and strive for the platonic relationships that usually get drowned out by all the shipping madness that is going on. Hell, you even manage to find beautiful, cute ways to write that in as well. And I love your humor! It’s so sweet and subtle, still I can picture it clearly in my head and can’t help myself and just laugh. It ALWAYS makes me smile when I see that you updated, I just know that I’m gonna love whatever you come up with next - don’t feel pressured though! You manage to give your writing a sense of realness that I really appreciate. Just know that I love you and that I really enjoy talking to you :D
@muffindragon227 - Well, we only started really talking only recently but you are also a real gem! I can’t stress enough that I’m so, so glad that I stumbled across your fic on that one fateful day and that I gave it a shot! I love that you are keeping it real. You don’t shy away to show the flaws of our beloved characters and still manage to make them relatable. You tried something new and unique and I really appreciate that. I know how much time and effort you put into your writing, you really put your heart and soul into your story, it’s admirable. And you are not afraid of challenges for which I have so much respect for! Also, your writing is so perfectly structured, it’s simply a joy to come back and read each and every new chapter. Also I love how descriptive you are. I really can’t wait for more from you, especially with all that teasing you are doing! But I like that about you, you are so approachable and easy to talk to. It’s fun to get to know you better and better :D
@umjustkatie - I don’t even know where to start with you, but girl, you are hilarious. Your characters are so OOC but still so relatable and that’s the whole charm about your writing style. You just write what comes to your mind, you write about the things everyone has been through at one point in their life, you don’t censor yourself and you just do whatever the hell you want. And hell, you are still so young and yet you are so, so talented. You manage to make me laugh when I had a shitty day and you make me like characters and ships that I usually don’t care so much for. You are precious and I hope you are doing well :D
@bonneyq - I remember binge reading Serendipity until late into the night and girl you made me feel emotional. This one is probably my fave fic from you with all the angst and heartbreak and your trademark happy ending :D You’ve put so much time, effort, love and positivty in this fandom, and for such a LONG time now that I just really wanted to thank you for that :D I know that it’s so freaking hard to write in a language that is not your native tongue! But you improved so much over the years that I’m truly happy to see how much love and support you receive from your readers! Lots of love and hugs for you :D
Honestly, thank you guys! You turn a shitty day into a good one, you are the ones who give us others alternatives to disappointing canon plots, you give us ship moments when we are thirsty for more, you are the ones who keep us readers excited and interested. So thank you for spending your freetime writing 100k fics or simply short one shots and sharing them with us. I love you :D
