‘einstein’ was originally set for 2025-2026, but was delayed to 2026-2027 season due to ‘scheduling conflicts’

the new series will follow ‘lewis einstein’ (matthew gray gubler) a descendent of albert einstein and a popular professor at princeton who’s bad boy antics get him in trouble with the law and uses his gift to help solve homicides alongside new jersey state police detective inspector ‘teri’ (melissa fumero)

there is no current air date for ‘einstein’ at this time, but deadline.com says to ‘check back on may 7th (2026)’ for a possible series trailer in anticipation as cbs will announce it’s fall schedule

I did not see that coming! But it's a really going to suit him playing someone brilliant! Of course he got cast for it.

I'll admit, it'll be jarring to see him play Einstein at his worst. Though, that'll be a testament to his acting being able to perform this unique character.
