nature is not just life, but death. in order for the wood to live, it must be able to die, and eir-a understands this. they take upon themself the solemn task of cleansing the forest of its sickness and its decay, so that in time, something new may grow out of the quiet.

a padjal as old as eir-a has outlived a lot of friends. yet none are ever truly gone; eir-a sees them in the hearts they leave behind.

febhyurary day 1 - hello world

having only known the embrace of towering trees, eir-a-yan was more than a little awed by the sheer vastness that rolled out for malms in front of them, the first time they stepped out of the woods and into thanalan. an unobscured blue sky, and golden fields of grass and sand, they found themself wondering, "what else do i not know about the bounty of nature?"

febhyurary day 5 - color

the sylphs ever love a good bit of color and mischief. fortunately for them, eir-a, referred to fondly and wearily as the 'hearer of little solace' by sylph and gridanian alike, feels the same. they are not one to pass up a game.

with an echo more literal than most, eir-a does not 'see' into the soul—they hear it.

febhyurary day 4 - touch

only a small few know eir-a is, despite their blessing, sickly for a padjal, and even fewer know why. yet it is not felt more than in the days following the calamity, when the hearer is found deep in larkscall, clinging to life. and none feel it harder than the keeper of the moon tasked with their protection, who waits by their side for five long years thereafter.
