its presentation is very good i love how it looks and the cast is nice but some of the design choices made just boggle my mind. i think removing the swarm feature was a really stupid move and i dont think the charge mechanic works nearly as well. the dodge roll is...neat i guess but swarming could have been kept in place of both and i think it would have played better maps are really expansive with so many paths and i find its way easier to lose track of pikmin because of it. like i never lost pikmin to sunset in pikmin 2 but ive lost like 30 in this game because of stupid shit like pikmin returning to an empty space where bridge tiles were but no longer are and they end up too far away to reach in time 😑 i did just come off beating pikmin 2 so mayb im just too used to tht play style and im bitter cause i was pretty good at it!! but i feel like im terrible at this game even after playing for like 5 hours
