Finally finished this set of rough refs for Kitty, just in time for her birthday (the same as Roberta Bondar’s, the first Canadian woman in space). On Grey’s I said I’m hesitant to make these for some characters for various reasons, but I wanted to have something a little less vague for others to refer to. These are super stiff and diagram-like, so I’d always refer to other drawings as well.
Other notes:
I haven’t used “unnatural” makeup settings in character creators before, so I wanted to do something different for Kitty. The eyelashes/lenses are inspired by the hip cool Asian girls among my family/friends/randos out on the street (so basically not me, but I do own fake eyelashes)

I think she’d wear different colours/effects from time-to-time, but I still want her to have brown eyes in illustrations, so this is for a kind of consistency. Since these are drawings the effects aren’t as obvious as real life, but I think my idea was that you could do all these sparkly eye stuff with her (which I haven’t really done...). At the very least, her irises should look bigger than normal.
She’s someone who dyes her hair a lot, so the colour variations shown aren’t extensive at all (but she does two colours in the immediate post-game).
Her eyeliner can also just be one colour (black or otherwise)
Her eyelashes can be pretty much anything that doesn’t look natural, but here’s Kyary’s eyelashes for an example. The first one is what I mean by thick/thin type.
She doesn’t only wear purple lipstick, but wears it most often.
While I’m here I made this relative-to-each-other (but not local colour bc I have a Thing about that) chart for Grey/Kitty/Leithianel since I feel like I colour them too similarly? I don’t have anywhere to put it so yeah. Basically I just need to study painting skin I guess lol
