C: A pairing you wish you shipped, but just can't. 

Sorey/Mikleo. I mean, I don’t not ship it, but I can’t muster any interest for it. And since it’s the biggest ship in the fandom (it’s got about 30 times the number of fics GaiWin has on AO3!), shipping it would probably make my fandom life a lot more fulfilling. Same with Yuri/Flynn. But oh well, c’est la vie. still wish gaiwin was more popular *sob*

D: What was the first thing you ever contributed to a fandom?      

Do my old Naruto fanfics count? XD

For Tales fandom, it was the translation of the Kratos track from the A Long Time Ago Drama CD. That was my first step into fan translations.

P: Invent a random AU for any fandom (we always need more ideas). 

AU where the legends about the Seven Tribes originating from Kresnik’s descendants are true, and Wingul was born with the Chromatus ability.

It’s fun to think about how it could have first been activated, what it could have changed, etc...

37. Have you ever written something you didn’t like but posted anyways? 

Hmm not really. There’s some fics I was a bit embarrassed about or stopped liking the concept so I took them down, but I didn’t dislike them when I posted them so idk if that counts.

39. What’s your favorite trope?

Found family. Lonely people finding a place to call “home” with each other is a big weakness of mine, and the Chimeriad are perfect for that :p

46. What’s your favorite emotion to cause on your readers? 

Guess I’m a meanie, but I like getting reactions for heartbreaking scenes :p

But I also like happy things so if I make my readers happy that’s the best x3

52. Favorite words to use when writing?

idk about favorite, but I’ve noticed I use the words “and” and “but” to connect sentences a lot. (look, i did it here too) On one hand it annoys me cuz it makes me feel my style is bland and unoriginal, but otoh they are such useful words… I wish I had a better vocabulary range ;A;

Chimeriad&Gaius + Cheering up :з

Sorry for the late reply, was super busy. I wasn’t sure how to interpret that prompt so I’m gonna split it in two:

Cheering others up

Gaius: not cheering up per se I guess, but when someone messes up and he can see they’re feeling down about it, he often gives them a task he knows they will likely accomplish well to help them regain confidence.More generally, he likes to crack jokes or say silly things seriously to ease tension.

Wingul and Presa tend to offer support more by their presence than with words. As pretty private ppl themselves, they don’t try to pry.

Jiao otoh tries to encourage ppl to talk about their problems and offers reassuring words.

Agria makes awkward attempts at doing something nice and thoughtful, like bake cookies etc. She often gets flustered when they realize what she’s doing and thank her for it, and declares very loudly and angrily that they got it all wrong and it was a coincidence she happened to bake too many cookies and just had to share some. Totally.

What cheers them up

Gaius: chocolate, cats, hugs.

Wingul: distractions, hugs from Gaius.

Jiao: talking it out, sympathy.

Presa: fresh air, tea and cookies.

Agria: praise/compliments.

22. Do you have any ships that you ship, but would never want to see as canon?

Hmm kiiinda Natsume/Tanuma (Natsume Yuujinchou)? Like, ngl, I would be beyond thrilled if it somehow became canon, but otoh... the author started this series because she was tired of romance being at the center of everything, so it’d be weird if the manga suddenly started introducing romance for the main character. It’s fine the way it is. I can go on AO3 if I want to see romance between them :p

Otherwise I’d love to see my main ships become canon (if they aren’t already).

23. Have you ever had a ship become canon, but you didn’t like how it was portrayed? 

Yeah I think I talked about it some time ago already, but Remus/Tonks (Harry Potter) and Naruto/Hinata (Naruto) didn’t turn out how I would have wanted them to. I’m not really invested in them anymore tho so I don’t care now.

Natori/Matoba: I’m not super into it, but I like it when I read some meta posts about them. Also those chapters about their teenage years are fun and definitely make the ship appealing XD

Alvin/Presa: It’s complicated. In a universe where Alvin isn’t a mess of issues, why not. But as things stand, he hurt her way too much for me to like the idea of them getting back together. There’s too much baggage, and I prefer to see her move on.

If I could visit a time period and then safely make it back home, I’d go to 16th century Japan to see the castles in their original beauty. The future might be fun to look at as well, but since I don’t know what’s in stores for this planet, I’d rather stay in the present.
