During art history, we were talking about Mesopotamia, and during the discussion, someone at the front of the class said something about a copper merchant.

So me, a few rows back, spoke up, and said "El-Nasir?"

She turned around and we locked eyes.

I gathered my courage and said "hey... I like your shoelaces."

AND SHE DID IT. SHE SAID "Thanks, I stole them from the president."

AND A FEW OTHER PEOPLE IN CLASS CHUCKLED AS WELL
