I've always thought of elastigirl as like, Luffy from one piece, so I've never worried about her getting shot, I just figured the bullet would bounce back, thoughts?
Well yeah I thought about it. I even read something about Elastigirl not being affected to bullets. However in the second movie during the ambassador rescue. You have the bodyguard of Selick who tries to shoot Helen and we see that she dodges the attack just in time. If it didn’t hurt her it wasn’t really necessary for her to dodge. (But there is the first movie with one scene where we could think she isn’t vulnerable to bullets, but I don’t know… Like whe she hits with her leg the guy with the gun, when she is blocked in that door).
Anyway, We know that Luffy isn’t affected by electricity like during the fight against Ener. However for Elastigirl during the screenslaver fight, he is using a tazzery thing (I don’t know how to describe it) and it’s hurting her pretty badly. I know that my second explanation has nothing to do with bullet but I have the feeling that Luffy’s power and Elastigirl’s power are not working the same way. I mean yes they can reshape and all but yeah I think that Helen is more vulnerable than Luffy.
Don’t get me wrong I don’t say that she is weak or anything that woman is pretty impressive certainly with that plane explosion during the first movie. So Elastigirl is pretty tough but she can be vulnerable…
Honestly that’s a complicated question, but I like that! So I will let this open for debate. So everyone feel free to react on that. I would love to read people’s opinion on that.
