Charlie was named by her grandparents. Having been dropped off to them just days after being born, and without much word at all from her mother who disappeared almost immediately after, she was named for her Great Aunt Charlotte. It was Jeremiah who coined 'Charlie', though her grandparents had preferred 'Lottie', she's always felt more like a Charlie.
